Over at StampARTic we got some amazing pattern papers and die cut sheets from

Papirdesign.

I have used the kit we got to make a vintage wedding card and a gift box.

The vintage pictures are both from the die cut sheet

Papirdesign sent me.

Looove it!!!

Here is the inside of my "envelope" card:

Gift box with poem on a tag;

The pattern papers are double sided, and perfect for

making gift boxes!

The poem was on one of the pattern paper,

and is a beautiful accessories for a wedding gift.

GDT Woxop: Decorated hangers

Remember I told you about being GDT for Woxop in march 2011??

Well, I can now show you what I have been working on, and it was really fun to work like this...

Scrapping in a new way...

Linnea, the owner of Woxop, sent me a hanger and magnetic buttons to work with,

and my assignment was to make hangers for a whole family,

sister, brother, mother and father...

Today I am showing you one of the hangers:

The little girl in the family

This is a girly-girl who loves the pink and the more embellish the better...lol...

Her is the decorated button;

DT Papilio: Brenda, the Goth Fairy

Finally I got ink for my printer, and I got to print out the newest digital image from

Papilio Stamps!

The image is so cool;

A great image for a card to a girlfriend!

It doesn't always have to be sugar-sweet... lol!

Most of the pattern papers are from Pion Design,

and the image is colored in using Copic Sketch Markers and chalk.

Last month I got this exciting e-mail from Woxop, asking me to

guest design for them in March 2011...

I had never heard of them before... and no wonder, it was not a scrap booking company...

so after checking out their site, their products and the task they had for me,

I answered yes in a in a heart beat...lol...

I will show you my work in a few days,

March 1 st...

and I can not wait...

This is scrapping in a manner I have never done before....

just hope both Woxop and you like it...lol...

DT Whiff of Joy: Henry Christmas Mouse

Before Christmas 2010 The Design Team of Whiff of Joy where asked to make some cards and tutorial for a Russian Magazine! How exciting!!

Of course we said yes!!!

I had two cards published in the magazine, along with a little tutorial on how to make a frizzy snowflake.

This is one of the cards, of course a Christmas card since this was the Christmas issue..

I have used the adorable image

"Henry Christmas Mouse"

one of the new Whiff of Joy images for the Christmas 2010.

I got the Russian magazine in the mail too,

and it was so much fun to see my picture, my cards, my tutorial,

and absolutely not understand a word of the text....

funny....

For all that I know they could be using my cards as a warning on how to NOT do it....LOL!

I have open another blog....

As some of you know, I have struggled with my neck lately..

and when scrapping it sometimes get even worse because of the way I am sitting...

my shoulder and neck get tense...

So I have to slow down a bit on the scrapping hobby,

I am NOT quiting, but I need to slow down... use longer time on each card,

and also breath life into hobbies I use to have before I started to scrap...

so I can vary my time between them all, and the variety will do my neck and shoulders good.

But I decided to keep this blog a card making and scrapping blog only,

and open a second blog to show my other projects..

The blog is called

Heim og hjertero

and it will be written in Norwegian and it will be

about interior, sewing projects, knitting and other creative projects.

New Year Resolutions - DT StampARTic and DT Whiff of Joy

It is 2011, a brand new year is waiting for us!

And over at StampARTic we decided to start the year

with New Year Resolutions, and I made a

card making new year resolution....

"Remember to have fun"

The reason is that with the responsibility over at StampARTic along

with other DT commitments the hobby can sometimes

seems like work.... but I want to keep the fun with the hobby...

so that is why I have this simple but yet important resolution for 2011.

The pocket card holds a tag,

where the resolution is written:

I have used the adorable image Nora with rose from Whiff of Joy.

I just love her big blue eyes (at least they are blue when I color them in)

The gorgeous framed brad is also from the Whiff of Joy collection.

They are so elegant and gorgeous!

I have been an extremely bad blogger lately, even worse then I thought I would be

during December...

the reason is that my neck is really acting up... :o(

So cardmaking is not a good activity for me to do right now...

I try a little, but it takes forever to finish a card, since I can not sit like that for too long...

however... Friday December 17th..... there is a Whiff of Joy bloghop happening,

I have made 2 cards and one basket for the article.

There is something so peaceful over this angel!

Such a warm and wonderful Christmas feeling in this image.

November 1st is finally here!!!

The release day of the new and amazing new

Whiff of Joy Christmas images.

For my card today I have used

"Angel delivering Christmas tree"

Such a gorgeous image!

The beautiful Snow flakes are also from Whiff of Joy,

new dies and some fabulous new brads are also released today.

I love this snow flake die, as it has 3 different sizes and shapes of snow flakes,

but yet they matches and are perfect on any winter card.

The large silver bead is also another one of the goodies you can find over at

the Whiff of Joy store.

This month it is SasSa who is hosting the challenge,

I am once again in loooove!!!

Gift boxes - Maja Design...

It is day 2 of our Maja Design article over at

StampARTic.

I have made gift boxes using the fabulous Christmas papers,

for todays article.

The gift boxes I cut on my Silhouette SD... love that machine...

I used a QuicKut die to make the hearts.

The text says "Merry Christmas" and is cut from the Maja Design papers.

These gift boxes are just perfect size for a small stocking gift, a jewelry to a friend,

or even fill it with chocolate!

You can also add a tag, to write a greeting on,

or why not make a matching card??

A Hänglar card....

Finally I got around to this cute little Hänglar.

I have had him forever, but never inked him up before last night...

A christmas card in teal and brown today...still not in the red/green mode.... :o)

As I told you yesterday, my day was spent baking, making cards and doing laundry.... lol...

but I also started another project...

My darling daughter needs a new warm in-door jacket... so instead of running to the store,

I decided to knit one for her...

I ordered tread and recipe online, and it came in the mail today....

so my autumn nights will be spent in my scrap room, and with knitting pins in my hand...

This is the jacket I am making- only I am using white tread.

Warm and nice to throw on with the cold days coming up....

And I have had this adorable Halloween image waiting for my while I was down with the flu....

DT Motivet , the flu and some amazing news....

I have the flu... :(

I am not feeling good at all, and I just climbed out of bed to get some water,

and to have a peek around the Internet, to see what is going on.

Motivet is back with their Sketch Challenge, and I have used this new and adorable image

Even though I am feverish and not feeling good at all, this news put a big smile on my face....

I got several of these cute boys from LOTV...

they are perfect on boys birthday cards.

I love this little rascal, so full of life.... and darn cute too... LOL!

I have colored him in with copic sketch markers, of course... :o)

I usually do not use much flowers on a boys card, but I couldn't resist putting on a single rose...

The stars are punches from Fiskars, and the swirl is a Tim Holtz die.

I used crackle paint on the swirl too.

I got another Papilio card to show today.
