Whiff of Joy Challenge #39

Oh well have to admit... summertime is not a great scrapping time... lol!
And I don`t think I am alone in this... The blogs and the traffic has slowed down, and people are relaxing in the sun instead. Very healthy!

Today, after my walk, and some chores, I made it into my scrap room.
And manage to make a card for the Whiff of Joy challenge #39.
The challenge is piercing.
I have made a frame around my image using my paper piercing tool.

I have used the adorable Charlotte on this card!
I think she is so cool and strong!
Just love her!

DT StampARTic ~Perfect Pearls

The Finnish store Askartelupuoti Pia! has generously sponsored our design team over at StampARTic with perfect pearls, so we could try out a technique we saw over at Tim Holtz blog.
I got two beautiful shades of blue perfect pearls to play with and here is my DT card for the article:

Purrfect Annie & Kitty...

I have been struggling with my mind around some job related issues, and together with the warm weather, my scrap room has not been as frequently visited as usual...
It is amazing how some pondering together with heat can suck the creativity right out of me... LOL!
But now things have slowed down at work, and I feel the weight lifted of my shoulder, and headed directly towards my scrap room.

I have used colors way out of my comfort zone, but love challenging my self every now and then.

Baby card

I apologize for making simple cards these days...

The weather is great outside, sunshine and hot hot hot!!!
Love it!
My copics, stamps and I have found a great spot underneath a big umbrella on my veranda, listening to music, sipping to an ice cold diet pepsi and we (the copics, stamps and I) are enjoying life!
At night I take the colored in images inside, and make cards!

Just Magnolia

This will be my very first entry over at the Just Magnolia blog.
The theme is 'summer' for this weeks challenge, and I think Tilda with her basket full of flowers, must be as summer as it gets.

Once again I have used the colors blue-green and orange.
Orange seems to be a returning choice in my colors lately.

HÄnglar in "A spoon full of Sugar"

A spoon full of Sugar has a great sketch made by Michelle O.
I have not followed the sketch to the teeth, but I hope they will reckognize it still...

I have dusted of some of my Hänglar & Stänglar images, and I found this adorable little hänglar in my collection... it is a shame... I keep forgetting about all the great stamps I have!
Oh well...the Hänglar is dusted off, inked up and given a couple of strokes with Copic Sketch Markers. Turned out a bit colorful, but I need some color now.. it is summer time!

DT North Star Stamps & Sukkersøtt

This image from North Star Stamps reminds me so much of our firstborn child, and bath time. It is so precious and such a good feeling.
I cant believe how time flies... my baby from the tub is starting school this fall.... Yaiks!!!

The text is also from North Star Stamps and the sheet "Gratulasjons tekster'. I have masked the bottom line to make it more suitable for a new born baby card.

I am so excited I was able to find Prima Marketings clear stamp set: 'Build A Bauble',
it seems to be sold out everywhere. The swirl in the back is from this amazing set!

I am home from one week vacation in Ebeltoft, Denmark!
Beautiful town and a great vacation with my dear family it was.

Whiff of Joy challenge #33

En av mine favoritt pynt på kort er charms, i tillegg til bling. Hos Whiff of Joy Challenge denne veka er utfordringen å lage kort med charms, og då måtte eg jo berre vere med!
Eg har brukt vakre Shy Willow frå Summer Stamp Kitet til Whiff of Joy.
Og så fekk eg endelig prøvd ut en av dei nye formene frå Go Kreate, dei har eg brukt til å lage ramme rundt motivet. I tillegg har eg brukt fleire clearstamps til å lage bord med igjen... er litt hekta på det for tida! =)

One of my favorite embellishments on cards, in addition to bling, is charms. Over at Whiff of Joy challenge they want to see charms on your cards, and I just had to enter!

And I finally got to try out my new shapes from Go Kreate, I have used them as frames around the image. And I have used different clear stamps border to make the center border across the card, I'm a bit addicted to that for the moment... =)

Sukkersøte kreasjoner og blog candy alert!

Det er så nydelig vær ute no. Vi har hatt mange dager med strålande sol og varme dager. Håper det varer lenge, er så godt for både kropp og sinn. Det blir derimot lite kortlaging på slike varme dager, bruker mesteparten av tida ute i lag med familien.

Har planer om å få lage litt i kveld, så bloggen blir snart oppdatert igjen....

The weather is gorgeous here right now, and I spend most of my time outside with my family. Loving it, but it leaves less time for card making. I do however have some scrapping plans tonight, so the blog will soon be updated.....

Over hos Sugar Bowl er det ei nydelig skisse av Kathy!

DT Motivet & Cute Card Thursday

Cute Card Thursday sin utfordring denne veka er "bit o' bling", og sidan eg som regel alltid bruker bling på korta mine berre måtte eg være med på denne.
Eg har brukte søte Doraline med ballong frå Motivet.
Fargane er litt utenfor det som er vanlig for meg, men motivet var fargelagt etter forrige vekes utfordring hos Copic Color Challenge, men eg rakk aldri å lage kortet ferdig i tide... ja ja.. får kanskje prøve igjen denne veka då! =D

The colors are a bit off what I usually use, I was coloring the image after last weeks challenge at Copic Color Challenge, but I didn`t have the time to finish the card in time to enter. oh well... maybe this week then... LOL!
